The November List

November! Can you believe it?

Summer and the festive season are almost upon us!

During the month of November, I am:

Watching: my holiday tan fade but still holding onto blissful memories of carefree days and balmy nights in Bali with my little tribe. And trying to keep a little bit of a holiday vibe in our day-to-day life too. Nothing too exotic but simple things like meals eaten outside, fresh tropical juices every now and again, the odd cocktail and remembering that watching a sunrise or sunset is pretty amazing wherever you are in the world.

Launching: the Nourish and Nest range of Organic Teas and Herbal Tisanes. Did you know that our teas were the very first 'goods of ritual' that I started working on and planned to launch this little brand with? Things didn't go precisely to plan but 18 months later here we are and I am ridiculously excited. They are premium, luxurious teas and I love the thought that they are now 'out there'.

Reading: Essentialism (which is particularly brilliant), The Best Yes and The Heart of Simple Living

Planting: Weekly! Fingers crossed for an abundant Summer.

Harvesting: Broad beans (it's my first time and I'm a bit chuffed)

Buzzing: (still!) after our recent Spring Feast.

Finishing up: the production of our Spring candle (until next Spring of course).

Introducing: our Festive candle. We believe that the seasons are to be celebrated, hence our seasonal candles that are available for a limited time only.

Cooking: I am going through a bit of a cauliflower phase and so I am planning on giving this recipe a go this week.

Being mindful: that there are just 6 weeks left in the year. And that I can do anything but not everything (I chat more about this here). Whilst that might sound like an overwhelming thought, it makes me conscious of the most important things I want to focus on, what I need to make time for and the things I need to (sometimes regretfully) say no to.

Lastly.. it is almost Summer which means it is almost time for our next Nourish and Nest seasonal newsletter. Newsletter subscribers will receive downloadable goodies, the secret cocktail recipe from our last feast and a special discount to use in our online store. If you haven't subscribed yet, make sure you do so via our homepage.
